Two new modern factories with advanced equipment and a family property with more than 170 years of experience in the trade, combine perfectly the tradition of the quality handmade product with the most innovative ideas in the field of excellence bakery products.

In 1999 the Pipino Family, owner of Prato s.r.l. implants a small productive unit in Villanova d’Asti thus returning to work on bakery, a family tradition that has its roots back in 1848.

Nowadays the Prato s.r.l. with two factories in Trofarello (TO) and Cantarana (AT) occupies a total Company property area of more than 5000 square meters.

Besides being distributed throughout the country, our products are successfully exported to many foreign Countries, starting from the neighboring France to the very far Australia.

All our products make use of handmade production methods.

Raw materials are carefully selected, the manufacturing processes are characterized by the slow leavening and by the contribution of a significant amount of manual work, all in line with the traditional high quality perceived and recognized in our products.

Food safety is ensured by the strict application of the HACCP plan, by procedures and additional internal controls, by the continuous training of suitably qualified personnel and by metal detectors on all packaging lines.
